Amazing!! Jeriah is very professional and REALLY cares about the child's education. He is confident in his work and it shows. He is able to change his way of communication so his student is able to comprehend the lesson. Hands down the best tutor we've ever had!! We are extremely thankful for Jeriah and his incredible work ethic and morals.

Definitely ask about online tutoring. I first did in-person tutoring and it was very good but then we switched over to online and I'm extremely happy. The flexibility is unbelievable.

We have been very blessed by inGenius! Our daughter was struggling with precalculus , and with the help provided by our inGenius tutor- she is improving her grades each quarter. She is a more confident student. We are very pleased with the professional way Paula handles her business. The billing system is user friendly and she gives a detailed description of what is going on in the tutoring session. Paula is very approachable, if I have a question, she gets back to me very quickly. We are planning to continue our relationship with our tutor and inGenius for the remainder of this school year and beyond.. If I could ask for anything, it would be meeting locations closer to central Concord.

I’ve taken my SATs a couple of times and although I am not a bad student, I just felt that I could have done better, I knew it inside, but just could not find where it was. I got the Getting Into The Ivys tutoring program and worked with a Chelsea tutor. What I really like about my tutor is that she’s a qualified teacher and is professional and knows how to actually teach concepts properly. I really did not want to take any chances. Going to university is very important to me and my family. Susan my tutor developed a special study plan just for me, which helped me focus on my key weaknesses, without feeling de-motivated, in-fact I was so enthused by her, I actually looked forward to all my sessions. She is a brilliant tutor and I am so very grateful. I was able to increase my composite core by 100. I am very pleased.

Dave helped supplement my calculus 3 course and he is very knowledgeable in this advanced subject. I have had four tutoring sessions with him so far and will continue to have them with him till the end of the semester. What went well is that he is very clear in his descriptions of the subject matter that we are describing, and as we go over examples he clearly sees mistakes that I make.

About

I am a dedicated tutor who works carefully to tailor lessons to individual students, using flash cards, informal questioning, computer activities (Quizlet, quia.com), etc. I do tutoring for my school--I teach 10th grade and 10th grade honors English-- and I have tutored and helped English students with paper editing and CAHSEE and CST, ACT, and SAT Prep. This past school year, I tutored English for a middle school student, and I also helped three high seniors prepare-and score highly-on ACT and SAT tests. These students make it seven high school/middle school students I've tutored in English/test prep (I also tutor Spanish). For example, in September/October of 2014, I tutored a high school senior who was preparing for her second SAT test. Our approximately eight weeks of work together resulted in an 80 point jump in her verbal/writing score. My test prep includes vocabulary building, computer exercises using the College Board website, and guided practice with immediate feedback.

I, highly, recommend her for all of your math tutoring needs, but especially for statistics. In my case, I needed to complete a graduate level statistics class, and I hadn't attended a math class in over twenty years, much less a statistics course. Julia was very patient and supportive in assisting me to understand probabilities, hypothesis testing, linear and multiple regressions, and time series forecasting. The outcome of our tutoring sessions together resulted in me achieving an A in the class.

About

I am an experienced collegiate tutor who wants to help students read and write with more confidence and academic accuracy. I do not write essays for people, I give them the tools to create better essays for themselves. My greatest joy is to see students enjoy and improve in a school subject they struggled with before their tutoring sessions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and I love passing on the knowledge of how to communicate on paper. My goal is to help students read and write as my full-time career.

I offer private tutoring in a variety of subjects: English (reading, writing, grammar, and phonics), SAT and ACT prep, and German. I am credentialed in both English and German. Although I was raised in the US, my mother is a native German, and my family speaks German at home. Therefore, I have been fluent in German my whole life. I also love knitting and have sold many of my items. If you are interested in learning a new and very satisfying hobby, I can teach you! I enjoy working with students of all ages, from elementary school to college and beyond.

About

Listed below are distinctions of the Club Z! Program, which offer insight as to how we are different from the competition and able to customize service to the student as a whole. 1. TUTORING IS IN YOUR HOME! a. Parents avoid the hassle of traveling to the tutoring site. b. Students receive one-on-one attention without the distractions of a group/classroom setting. (Great if the parent says the child is highly distractible or has ADD/ADHD) c. Parents have an opportunity to meet with the tutor after every session to discuss areas of improvement as well as areas in need of remediation. d. Parents are REQUIRED to be at home during each session, therefore parents have a chance to eavesdrop on the tutoring and learn how to reinforce the skills in the time between tutoring sessions. 2. SAME TUTOR, EVERY TIME The same tutor will teach the student every time, so the rapport that develops between a student and a teacher is never disrupted. A tutor will be a more effective teacher upon understanding the personality, interests, and learning style of the student. When the student is seen as a whole, both learning and self- esteem flourish. 3. TUTOR PLAYS THE ROLE OF A COACH Bringing in a neutral, encouraging third party can often restart a fresh flow of learning. It is analogous to a child resisting his father’s advice on how to swing a baseball bat, but then eagerly following orders when the same advice comes from the baseball team’s coach. Often times, the tutor will become like a coach, mentor, roll-model, naturally enhancing the student’s self-esteem and confidence. Their tutor is seen as an ‘expert’ - their personal academic coach; someone whom they might wish to emulate. 4. EMPHASIS ON STUDY SKILLS Club Z! tutors emphasize the importance of effective study skills as part of any tutoring program. Organization, time management, reading comprehension and note-taking strategies are addressed to lay the foundation for success in all academic areas. 5. PARENTS ARE IN CONTROL Parents control: a. the tutor that is requested – male or female b. the number of tutoring sessions per week c. the days and times of the sessions d. being kept informed of the student’s progress, after each session. 6. SCHOOL-BASED CURRICULUM Rather than introduce an entirely new curriculum to an already overwhelmed, struggling student, Club Z! tutors in the classroom curriculum – utilizing classroom texts, assignments, and materials as the focus of each session. Supplementary material may be provided when necessary and/or requested. 7. FAST RESULTS! Because Club Z! tutors within the existing school curriculum, results are immediate. Tutors and students work together to tackle classroom assignments, upcoming school projects, and prepping for tests. Within only a couple of weeks, teachers, parents, and students alike will notice improvement – often, significant growth!
