Ben came to our house to teach us a few Thai dishes. He worked with us ahead of time to work out a menu. He was extremely responsive to our emails. When he came to our house he was on time, professional, and an excellent teacher! If you want to participate, he is your man. If you don't want to participate, he is your man. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first thing I like to do is talk with my clients to determine their exact needs. If we decide we want to work together, we formulate a plan, whether that be a class, reoccurring private chef services, or a single event, and take it from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In catering you are not stuck in one restaurant with one set of staff. I love this because I am constantly working with other chefs and we are always trading secrets. I can't imagine a better continuing education than working with new cooks and chefs on a regular basis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I feel like it decided for me.
