Introduction: Sa'Vory De'Lites is a unique catering company that provides customers with exceptional catering services. I cater to my clients wants and needs with suggestions within my expertise. I like to know what my clients like and/or what they would prefer to have, what type of theme does their event represent as well as giving suggestions as to what I can provide that might suit their specific needs. I continue to go above and beyond in providing the best catering services with the highest expectations.... My quality of work always speaks for itself and not only just by appearance but by taste as well. Everything I do, I do with love, passion and always from my heart. My services include catering (Birthdays, Weddings, Corporate Drop-offs, Bridal Showers, Graduations, Baby Showers, Special Occasions, Personal Chef, Private In-home Dinners and/or Dinner Parties (party of 2 to 10) and Private In-home Cooking Lessons (1 to 4 students). I love my work because it allows me to do what I enjoy most which is cooking, entertaining, serving and feeding others. The love and passion I grew up with surrounding food and family has made me want to give back. Family is everything to me so each client will be treated like family as this is a family-oriented business. The biggest joy for me has to be family-style meals! It is something that has been taken out of many homes due to business parents or the lack of family bonding. If I can bring something like that back into homes today, that would bring me the greatest joy and would satisfy my want and need to bring families together at the dinner table.... Breakfast and lunch as well. I believe the heart of the table is the food prepared by the person with a big heart. There's no better way to enjoy good food than to enjoy it being surrounded by family & friends.

I just cannot say enough good things about this great lady. Chef Jackie catered my husband's 60th birthday party a couple of months ago. It could not have turned out better, and guests are still raving about the food and the way it was presented. I was nervous about hosting such an event at my house, especially with the guest list growing day by day (we ended up with approximately 80 in attendance), but Jackie helped me through the entire process, from the amount and selection of food items, choices of wine to serve, etc. Additionally, the day of the event, she handled all of the details for the food so I could focus working with our emcee and placement of the tables and other preparation needs. By the time our guests arrived, everything was ready and I can't tell you how wonderful it was to watch friends and family (most of whom had traveled hundreds of miles for the big day!) enjoy eating a fantastic meal and sipping on drinks while mingling and waiting for the program to start. Chef Jackie is a big reason that my husband's birthday milestone has legendary status. In fact, I am hoping we have another special family event real soon so I can work with her again!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Art Institute of California - Sacramento: Culinary Management Bachelor's Degree 4-year Field of Study: Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager ServSafe Certified Education and training included the of opening a full service restaurant in real time during my A la Carte class which gave me the knowledge to run a POS system, handling money and taking credit card payments while gaining customer service experience in the food industry.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I've been cooking since I was nine (being taught by my parents and stepfather). This drove me to want it more. From that first box of Rice-A-Roni and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, cooking has been in my blood. It became a passion of mine making me very passionate about what I do.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I've work with many clients while catering to their weddings, birthday parties, private in-home chef dinners, as well Lodi's Wine & Jazz Festival's, Stockton Wine & Roses, the Sacramento Boy's & Girl's Club and the Food & Wine Festival for the Congregation B'Nai Israel two years in a row. I've also had the privilege and opportunity to work with Master Chef Taro (owner of Mikuni's Japanese Restaurants), volunteering my time and services for three of his events and several inspirational chefs including my chef instructors from school as well as Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine.
