- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly Rate is $70/hr. Discounts are available for half-day, full-day, or multiple day packages.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most new clients start with a tour of the space and/or speak with Our team. Getting a feel for both the space and the engineer you'll be working with is a great way to develop comfort in working in the studio. Your engineer will want to get some info about your desires for your project, as well as get an idea for how you'd like your project to sound. If you have some artists you'd like to model your sound after, or a vibe your trying to capture, it's always helpful to be prepared to share some examples of some music you feel best describes your vision. If there are unique elements in your band/production be sure to bring that up with the engineer. A smooth session relies on detailed planning before-hand. Any information you can get to your engineer to allow them to plan things will only help to save both time and money. Those savings also have the ability to allow for more time for the experimentation and spontaneity that can be some of the most enjoyable parts of recording. If an artist decided that Sonic Rocket is the place they want to do their next project, we require a deposit to book time. That deposit is either $50 or 25% of the total cost, whichever is greater. Your remaining balance is due at your session.
