Her color blends exude happiness and I've already had numerous community members comment on the bold pop of colors, which is exactly what I wanted! The other awesome thing about this project is how Lauren was able to interpret what I asked for into what I really wanted :) At the end of the day, its a piece I can feel proud of as an Iowan, is incredibly beautiful, and gets the neighborhood talking in a good way. Anthony P. says, "There really aren't enough words to properly describe the superb professionalism of Jeanine and the Hattas Public Mural team. I'll try and be brief and share with you the story of how they helped make my proposal to my girlfriend a dream come true. I am not someone experienced in the art world, nor have I ever collaborated with artists on a painting or mural. However, I knew it would be the perfect gift if I could have a giant epic framed mural on the wall of my living room to surprise my girlfriend on the day I planned to ask her to marry me. From start to finish, Jeanine took my vision of that perfect day and made it a reality. I'm going to list the sheer number of things Jeanine and her team did just to show you the amount of attention they paid to me during this project. Jeanine answered every one of my calls, she discussed ideas for creating the scene that would be painted, she recommended colors and styles, she created several mock-ups, she offered several different price points with different values to make it accessible and affordable, she completed the project within an extremely tight window of time, she picked out framing materials, they arrived with all their own equipment, moved my furniture on their own (safely), put up the painting and the frame, cleaned everything up, and moved it back ALL without me having to lift a finger. She literally made it possible for me to return to my home and have nothing to do except focus on asking my girlfriend to marry me. When me and my girlfriend saw the piece, we both cried. It truly represented us. The quality of the work was phenomenal. Their team has a portfolio of work that is extremely high quality, so it's no surprise it turned out so great. I want to mention that I would share pictures to show you how beautiful our mural turned out to be, but it's something my fiancee and I have decided we enjoy keeping just between us. She is of course extremely talented but also worked with us and created computer renderings of all her work for us to choose from once we had given her ideas on what we would like. I couldn’t recommend doing this in a home enough. We both work from home and are both on Skype/meetings constantly and are always getting compliments. It’s the perfect background and means so much that it was done by an artist. Taylor is extremely quiet, she doesn’t even listen to music, she’s very pleasant and gets right to work. With our schedules and after talking with her for sometime before the actual pairing began- we opted to give her our keys so she could easily come and go. This is not only someone you can trust with any size project, but also someone you can trust in your home/work place etc. I’d trust her with kids, animals- anything.
