Introduction: After 35 years in the residential and commercial remodeling, new single family homes, builder, resourcing, upscale project management, seismic retrofitting, home inspection. and resolution , interior trim design, stair design and frame through finish, Wood and metal framing, general contractor since 1981 recently retired, licensed c-9 drywall painting contractor, General building tenant improvement, draftsman, contract negotiation. dispute representative, counseling estimating, staffing, implementation of safety program to meet state law, you name it I have done it, Over forty years in the industry and I have never been involved in a litigation directed at myself for failure to meet obligations. The main reason I am not contracting any longer is the state of California has created a anti business atmosphere geared to first to relieve all state and local government of all liabilities , second to generate as much economic resource available while doing little to validate the fees and surcharges while acting as authoritative dictators in regards to the industry. I submit to you that our fees and taxes pay their departments and staffing and we should be treated as such. They are "Public Service " departments. Not some entity derived for the economic benefit of the individual position. An average building inspectors reimbursement for that very simple and necessary appointment is over $150,000.00 annually with retirement, health and dental, not to mention very secure and not physically demanding. I am here to serve anyone with the needed requirements I have stated above. THANK YOU.
