Wow, what an impressive, true professional! Anderson did a bunch of long overdue home projects for me. First I had him replace all the caulking around my shower and glass enclosure. I can’t overstate how nice it is to no longer have to look at the disgusting black mildew-infested cracked caulking that wouldn’t go away no matter how many times I had professional cleaners clean. It took just a few hours and now I have the cleanest and most professional looking caulking lines I can be proud of! It also ended up costing less than a third of what I got quoted by pros on Yelp. Anderson also replaced CFL undercabinet kitchen lights with LED fixtures. This job was initially started by another handyman. Apparently the task was really difficult and took much longer than expected, so the job couldn’t be completed because by that point I had to leave for an appt. So after warning Anderson about the previous experience, imagine my surprise when he knocked them out in about half the time it took the other handyman. I mean, I literally said you’re done already? I was so surprised. He’s super smart and is able to quickly grasp the problem and figure out a solution. What it meant for me was that I wasn’t paying for someone to learn and make mistakes on the job. Next, I had Anderson build wood shelves for my shoe cabinet that effectively doubled my shoe storage. This might not sound like much but believe me it was very exciting! You can never have enough shoe storage and it makes a huge difference being able to have more of my shoes in one place. He matched the paint of the Restoration Hardware cabinet and you literally cannot tell the new shelves apart from the originals. The work quality was outstanding and I couldn’t be more pleased. Anderson also installed a side gate lock lickety split in the time that it probably would’ve taken me to still be reading the instructions and now I have a gate that finally will stay shut. So of course now I’m having him replace my wire pantry shelves with floating wood shelves. Another long overdue upgrade. They’re not finished yet but already looking great and will end up costing about half what I’ve been quoted by pro carpenters. I wanted to leave a review because Anderson is that rare gem who is the consummate professional at all times, so hard-working and conscientious, unfailingly responsive, utterly honest such that I no longer keep track of hours and tell him to just bill me, completely trustworthy to have in and respectful of my home, and as previously stated, super smart with an engineering mind to boot. Also just plain competent and a perfectionist who will tirelessly work on the project until you are 100% satisfied. On top of all this, he’s just a genuinely nice guy. This is the type of person who is completely deserving of a novel-length rave review and is indeed that rare gem who you want to see wildly succeed even if it means that he’ll no longer be as available for your projects.
