Nina is awesome! She was my trainer for about a year while I was living in Palo Alto. She took the time to really understand my goals, design a comprehensive plan and was great at keeping me motivated. If I still lived there I would still be working with her. I have worked with Geoff in three different areas. 1. My grandson took Jui Jitsu with Geoff and his team for a year. He excelled and did tournaments and placed. The professional and personal style of training for children is excellent. 2. I took kickboxing for about nine months with three different ladies in which Geoff was our instructor. I gained strength and endurance through these classes. Enough to where I am now in the third phase of our relationship in training. 3. I now train with Geoff twice a week. We work on kickboxing, endurance and Boot Camp training. Switching off each training session because I need to switch it up. My three children have been training with Jay since they were five years old. Now that they are becoming teenagers, they look to him for physical training but also as a life coach. I took Kelvin's Thai kickboxing classes at the LinkedIn corporate gym. His classes were always challenging and fun, regardless of your skill level. Kelvin did a great job honing the technique of the the regulars and people with prior fight training. And Kelvin always welcomed new newcomers and helped them develop foundational skills. Even though I took Kelvin's classes once or twice a week for over a year, I never got bored. Kelvin changed up the classes pretty frequently with new drills and strike combos. One of the things I really miss about working at LinkedIn is coming to Kelvin's class.

I've been training/working out with Tom for almost 6months now. Training with Tom is great, his knowledge of different workouts and exercises helped me grow as an athlete. His pricing is fair and a better rate than most trainers in the area. The workouts are always different and help me hit the goals or skills I want to improve on such as, improvements in my boxing/kickboxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu, mobility and also strength training. When I first started working with Tom I was completely new to lifting but now I am able to lift 1.5% of my body weight in both my squat and deadlift. His ability to adapt to my needs whether minor injuries or muscle soreness is fantastic. Tom puts his clients as a priority and has never been late to any of our training sessions; he's been more than flexible to work with my frantic schedule weather it's training early in the morning, afternoon, or late at night.
I began working with Nate Moore a few years ago for the sole purpose of losing an extreme amount of weight. At the time I began working with Nate I weighed in at 230 lbs and after 16 months I was down to 125lbs. Prior to working with Nate I had joined several other gyms and always found myself getting bored and losing all motivation very quickly which resulted in not returning. Every single one of Nate's training sessions are exciting and he always provides new fun ways of challenging yourself regardless of your fitness level. His innovative training methods made me LOVE working out. Definitely not your typical boring workout routine. The level of dedication, energy, knowledge, patience and constant support that Nate provides is above and beyond anyone else that I've ever worked with. I contacted Terri to teach a self-defense class to a group of 18-year-old young women, before they went off to college. Terri was quick to respond to my e-mails and easy to work with. She organized the class, complete with online sign-up and payment and we were all set. The girls loved the class and felt that Terri not only taught them physical ways to protect themselves, but she also gave them loads of advice about how to carry themselves, how to react in situations, what to be thinking about, etc. I would recommend Terri highly.
I loved working with Andrew. It had been about a year since I had boxed, so I was a little nervous. Andrew put me right at ease during his intro level boxing class and reminded me of techniques I had forgotten. I worked with him a couple more times since then one on one. The workout kicked my butt, and I’ve been steadily improving at boxing. He’s funny, really easy to get along with, and had a fairly flexible schedule. I can’t recommend him enough!
A great place to work out! I have known and trained with Jeremy for over 15 years, and I am excited that he has finally decided to open up a school. I have studied martial arts for over 20 years at various schools and styles ranging from Tae Kwon Do (with Jeremy) Capoeria, Muay Thai, Judo, and Wing Chun. Of all my instructors, and I have had some great ones, I can safely attest that Jeremy was the one that allowed me to grow the most. if you are a beginner, or advanced in martial arts I guarantee that if you spend six months training under Jeremy at IMA, you will see tremendous improvement with your technique and fitness goals.
This is a Fairtex Muaythai's new location. Great staff, clean facility, and awesome programming. I like their variety of classes you can take. They have awesome kids After School Program that includes science, technology, engineering, math, arts & crafts, nerf games and more. My little girl is in the program. She loves it. She loves Taekwondo taught by Jason and Muaythai taught by Charles. Master Anthony is the After School teacher teaching kids cool engineering projects and more. I love it because I can train at the same place and go home together after our class. I highly recommend this gym! Oh, by the way, the gym is SUPER CLEAN! They have a professional cleaner that comes and clean the gym. It helps that the facility is brand spanking NEW!
