- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary depending on where, when, and for how long. I do give discounts for friends and family, and for previous customers. I am flexible with prices and I do not have a set price on anything. I try to be as fair and reasonable as possible when it comes to pricing parties and events! For weddings, I charge $450-$500!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with meeting with the client and discussing what they would like, and get as much information about the event. Also over the phone works as well if they are a little further away. Then, I like going over music and styles and ask if they have any specific details they would like for me to do. If it is a wedding, I will face time or meet with the bride as many times as she would like beforehand, or I am happy to see them at the rehearsal if they request for me to be there. For non weddings, I will meet with the guests as much as they like. I prefer to take payments either right before the event, or at the rehearsal if it is a wedding!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years of classical training and 8 years of Fiddle and Celtic training. I have done private lessons and many types of different events, including birthday parties to holiday parties. I have experience performing for shows at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and also teaching and performing programs about 18th century Baroque music at Colonial Williamsburg. I have also worked and taught with all different ages ranging from 5 to 50 years. I’ve done many shows over the years and have attended various music camps while growing up. I have been in the Virginia Youth Symphony, as well as the Hampton Roads Symphony, playing lots of classical music. I have played in All city Orchestra multiple times, as well as played for countless numbers of charities! I have performed for people in the government, as well as the VA mayor! Over the 20 years of playing, I have lots of experience working with all types of people, as well as all types of events and shows!
