This was the worst move job I've ever experienced. The two movers who helped me were really great. But communication with the person who coordinated the job was really awful. They canceled and rescheduled my move date 1 hour before meet time due to rain even though it had been raining for several hours prior. On the rescheduled move day, the movers were 5 hours late due to a flat tire. I wasn't told until 10-15 mins after the meet time about the issue they were experiencing. I asked the coordinator to call me, and they never did. All communication was via text on my move day. I was assigned 2 movers instead of 4 as advertised because the original 4 had to do another move job by the time their truck tire was fixed. The lead mover had to use his own personal truck/SUV to move my things (including my car and my mom's car). I was 2/3 of the way moved from my storage to my new home when I had to call it quits. I'm diabetic and my blood sugar kept dropping due to the unexpected exercise I was doing by helping the movers move my things. (They did 98% of the lifting. However, I did end up running a lot to get them in/out my house and in/out of my storage). We made 3 trips from my storage to my new home and still couldn't finish the job. I also called it quits as my storage was closing, and I live in the country where it gets SUPER DARK. The coordinator never followed up with me to ask how my move went. UPDATE: Never received the $50 partial refund. I followed up with the company via text message today (12/30). The response was "Sorry, we're closed due to the holidays." Mind, the company had 10+ DAYS to refund me $50, but couldn't be bothered to do it.
