- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
30 Min- $30- $120 per month 45 min- $45- $180 per month 60 min- $60- $240 per month
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is about getting to know you, your background, your goals, and then assessing the skills you already have. I also listen for any potential damage or problem spots in the voice. After I have a good feeling about where you are, I have a general plan of where we’re going and how we’re going to get there. The following lessons are about learning and executing various vocal tasks & technique including control of vocal anatomy, breath control, warming up, music reading (if desired), and repertoire work. By the end of your 2nd lesson, you'll know about breath and how to warm up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I have my bachelor's degree in Vocal peformance, focusing on opera and classical styles. However I just got certified in teaching Somatic Voicework. This is a 3 class, graduate level vocal pedagogy course focusing on teaching styles such as rock, pop, gospel, jazz, blues, and folk! It enables me to teach in these styles and have the credentials behind my name (Not just my experience) to do it! I'm also finishing up training in the Estill Voice Method and have various voice anatomy classes behind me.
