FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically make contact with potential client, most always schedule a date to meet, preferably at event venue to discuss things and see their vision in the space being used. Once a list of things needed is created, we prepare a cost proposal. Folks get to review it, makes adjustments as needed, and if all looks good, we move forward with completing a simple contract and processing a deposit to secure our services on their event date.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A family member was in the field and would always ask that I assist with little things needed. All along was continuously learning and unknowingly mastering skills. Years forward, decide to take a leap and jump in full force ahead.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently had the opportunity to plan a friends wedding. It was a great honor to be trusted to do so. What makes it something to be fond of is that not only did we plan it and set it all up, but was also asked to be a part of the bridal party as well. Let’s just say that it was a huge juggling job. Having to jump from being the planner, only vendor providing EVERYTHING , to being a guest and still a part of bridal party was definitely a challenging role. The Bride and Groom were ecstatic at how great things came out, how well things moved along and everything on their dream wedding request list was achieved perfectly. Friends and guest where floored at how we where able to achieve things having to wear so many hats at once. I’ve been asked “would you do it again?”. I say no now, but truth be told, I probably would.
