I'm a blues musician (guitar, keyboards and harmonica) with a one-man Blues show featuring music from BB King, Albert King, Freddie King and Albert Collins, plus some originals that audiences have enjoyed.
You can have your show as a background (low volume with instrumental numbers primarily), or you can have a more boisterous presentation at higher volume as a featured performance or for dancing.
I also play with a band that I can bring for additional cost.
You may also make Blues tunes requests with enough advance time so I can learn the song you would like me to perform at your event.
(I had previously used Thumbtack before I closed my landscaping business - so many reviews are from that business that I used to have).

I can’t praise Douglas’ work enough! He ran into multiple unseen complications and remained committed to complete the work in excellence. He actually offered to refund the money I had paid him to grind down what appeared to be only stumps, when he discovered at the end of the day that a large mound of the stumps was actually where the roots has grown around chunks of cement, big rocks, and steel cables. Apparently ages ago construction workers must have dumped it there and later the plants got out of control, reaching high as the power lines and hiding the buried treasure after years if growth. Douglas worked with me to find the best solution, and he completed the job! He hauled away 2,200 lbs of debris, most of the weight was from the hidden concrete, rocks, and steel, and left the place looking immaculate. It actually took him 3 days instead what from the surface appeared to be one day. I am thankful that I chose him and that he didn’t leave me hanging, but went above and beyond. He is courteous, punctual, and his work ethic and commitment to excellence is outstanding. I just can’t say enough…he did several additional things that I asked him to such as check and clear the rain gutter on the roof for dried leaves from overgrown trees. He additionally recommended injecting a herbicide to inhibit regrowth of the trees - all at no additional cost! He was very professional and sent photos at every stage of what he was doing since I was not physically at the location. I will hire this pro again and again whenever I need his expertise. I am so grateful that professionals like him exist.

Douglas was the second to respond to my query. He came out and observed my out-of-control yard and accepted the challenge. In less than 4 hours, he had already begun the task of returning front of property to civility! He will return on Thursday and have a regular job, if he wants it. I was disappointed at least one other had a chance to visit the site and never responded thereafter? Perhaps some simply don't want to do actual work? Anyway, Douglas is a good worker, self-starter, and understood-immediately-both priorities and how to get them done. Note: I had a stroke 4 weeks ago, so I really needed someone to take control and just move things forward!

We needed to get our weeds removed and trees trimmed. Douglas was very responsive, came on site to provide estimates, and performed the job. He arrived early in the morning and completed the job the same day. We will be coming back to Douglas in the future!
Douglas did an excellent job with our front lawn and back yard! He arrived on time and was very professional. Our front lawn was over grown and had many tall weeds as well as some rocks left from previous house remodeling. Douglas took care of all the problems and transformed our front lawn to a nice and pretty front yard. Our back yard was also a big mess (a lot of weeds, overgrown plants and many oranges that fell from the tree). With Douglous's work, it looks so much better and we now enjoy looking at the backyard. He also cleaned our yard and driveway and made sure every corner was spotless after his work. Additionly, he charges very reasonable price for his work and he actually enjoys what he is doing! We decided to hire him for regular lawn and garden services because of his quality work.
