Introduction: I like a "non-intrusive" approach during the live action of weddings and events and a guided approach to portraits/headshots. I try to be a fly on the wall whenever I am allowed and in the case of portraiture, I always remember that having a camera in your face isn't the most natural way to spend your time so I do my best to make it a non-issue. Akisha has the skill set that makes for an extraordinary photographer. She has the eye. She sees moments when the rest of us don't and captures them beautifully. She is patient. Professional. Flexible. Warm. Smart (you don't need to explain or direct...she gets nuance and figures out what is important and who is important). She has the equipment that supports her creativity and she is lost in the background when you need her to be and front and center when you hope for her to be. Working with Akisha was truly a blessing. I hired her not knowing what to expect, but she exceeded my expectations. I won't be looking for another photographer again. I have found someone I trust.

All I can say is wonderful things!! We celebrated our Anniversary and renewed our vows in my parents beautiful backyard! What a relief it was to know that we could enjoy our party and not have to worry about taking pictures knowing all our special moments would be captured! The photos turned out outstanding!! My only regret is that we didn't have her there longer!! She showed up on time, was very professional and accommodating!! You won't be disappointed!!

PLEASE remember- no matter how many devices we all have at our fingertips, how many pictures the people around you take of an occasion- there is absolutely NOTHING that replaces a beautiful image taken by a professional. It truly lasts forever and if you are wise in choosing the right photographer, they can capture moments that only happen once and can happen in a split second. People that do what I do and know what they are doing have the skills to capture those milliseconds.
