My computer is essential to my business and my mental and emotional well being. I run a church, a non profit youth orchestra, and a profit making corporation. For my overall well being, I need a tech support person who knows both the working of the computer and the working of the programs I run so I don't get the run around about where the problem lies. John knows both the computer and the programs and how to instruct me to avoid problems. If, on those rare occasions, he does not know the answer immediately, his ego allows him to discuss the issue with other tech support people until he or they come up with answers.
I call upon John to help me when my computer stalls, crashes, has conflicts, doesn't want to cooperate with me, and gives me those crazy error messages. John is quick to respond, quick to put my mind at ease, quick to calm my nerves, and quick to answer my questions about why is this happening? He delivers quality work, which I especially appreciate in this era of hundreds of versions of programs, and thousands of models of computers, millions of drivers, and quadrillions of operator's levels of computer literacy and sophistication.
I depend on him to research and advise me as to the best program I need for my business as it grows, or as I grow. I depend on him to service my computer whether I am home, away, on the laptop, or whatever are my needs -- and he does. I can't imagine how I ever got along without him. Actually he has been serving me and my cadre of computers since 1992 and I fully trust him, depend on him, and greatly appreciate him.
One time John was on vacation on another continent when I called for help. I didn't know he was away from his office, but I was in trouble and needed to get a report out right away. John put my mind at ease and said he would work on the issue as soon as he finished dinner. He did! Vacation did not stop him from assisting me, nor does it stop his other clients. He says, "I've got to take care of my clients because they depend on my service!" That is dedication. I am grateful for his attitude and his willingness to go way beyond the call of duty.
