I highly recommend Alex at Same Day Garage Door Repair! My garage door circuit board failed, and since the model was discontinued, replacing it was going to be expensive. Alex was extremely responsive by text, explained my options, and gave me very competitive pricing.He showed up on time, tried troubleshooting the existing unit first, and ultimately helped me choose a new unit that fit my needs. The installation was great, and his advice on bi-annual maintenance was really helpful.What I appreciated most was that Alex was honest, straightforward, and never tried to upsell me. Great service, great work, and a really good experience from start to finish. Id definitely recommend him!

I was ready to begin my morning on Labor Day, when I realized after driving out of my garage that the door wouldn't close. In fact, not only did it not close, it was damaging itself with each attempt. I called a few garage technicians, but Alex was the first one to pick up. He said he could get to me within an hour. Same Day Garage Door Repair indeed!Upon arrival, Alex assessed the situation, realized it was a difficult one, and thought that I might need to get the entire door replaced. He said he could help me close the garage door in the meantime and set to work. When done, he said that he may be able to salvage the door with a few structural improvements, and wanted to come back the next day and try it - no fee if it doesn't work.So I agreed to this, and Alex came back the next day with some struts and got to work. A few hours later, my garage door was working again! He let me know that this solution was good for now - but a more complete solution would require a few more struts and possibly a spring upgrade. So I asked him to come back for a THIRD day to solidify the fix, to which he did, for a job well done. He let me know that if anything went wrong any time soon to just call him back and he'll take another look.I'm very pleased with Alex's work, and am very grateful that he was able to save me the trouble (and cost!) of replacing the entire garage door. I'll be recommending him to friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers if they ever need a garage guy!

I cant recommend Alex from Same Day Garage Door Repair highly enough! Our garage door had come off its track and wouldnt close all the way, which was a huge safety concernespecially with a three-year-old who could easily push it open. Before calling Alex at Same Day Garage Door Repair, I attempted to fix my garage door myself, which unfortunately turned into a much bigger problem. The door came off the tracks, and one of the panels started separating.
Alex was able to reinforce the damaged panel, properly get the door back on its tracks, and save me from having to replace the entire garage door. It has now been over five years since the repair, and the reinforcement is still holding strong. The door continues to work great with no issues.
I really appreciate that Alex fixed the problem properly rather than pushing me toward an unnecessary full door replacement. His work has stood the test of time, and I highly recommend Alex and Same Day Garage Door Repair!

Torsion spring let go on a Saturday morning. Sounded like a gunshot in the garage, and of course my car was stuck inside. Called Same Day Garage Door Repair not expecting anything till Monday. They had Alex at my house within two hours. He looked at it for about a minute and told me both springs were the same age, so replacing just the broken one meant I'd be doing this again in a year. Then he actually showed me the wear on the other one instead of telling me to trust him. Went with both. Quote and final bill were the same number. Whole thing took under an hour. He tightened the opener chain and rebalanced the door too, didn't add it to the invoice. Door's quieter now than it was before the spring broke.
