FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want customers to know that my pricing reflects the level of care, attention, and professionalism I provide. Every home and pet is unique, so I take the time to understand each client’s specific needs before quoting a price. My rates are designed to cover overnight stays, daily updates, mail and plant care, and any special instructions, so clients get peace of mind while they’re away. I also offer flexibility for longer stays or recurring clients, and I’m happy to discuss custom packages to make the service fit their needs. My goal is always to provide reliable, trustworthy service at a fair price, so clients feel confident that their home and pets are in excellent hands.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new customer, I start by having a detailed conversation to understand their specific needs and expectations — whether it’s house sitting, pet sitting, or both. I ask about routines, special instructions, and any unique aspects of their home or pets so I can provide personalized care. Once the plan is clear, I outline a schedule for visits or overnight stays, including how and when I’ll provide updates, such as daily photos or messages. Before starting, I confirm access instructions, safety protocols, and any emergency contacts to ensure everything runs smoothly. From there, I follow their instructions closely while staying proactive — checking on the home, handling pets with care, and notifying them immediately of anything important. My goal is to make clients feel completely confident that their home and pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training combine hands-on experience with professional expertise in property care and safety. I’ve spent years managing residential and commercial properties, overseeing maintenance projects, and handling construction and repair tasks, which gives me a strong understanding of how to keep a home safe, secure, and well-maintained. In addition, my experience as a Code Enforcement Officer has honed my attention to detail, knowledge of safety standards, and ability to identify and prevent potential issues before they become problems — skills that directly translate to thorough and reliable house sitting. I’ve also gained extensive experience caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments, following detailed feeding, exercise, and medication routines. Combined with strong communication and organizational skills, this background allows me to provide professional, trustworthy house and pet sitting services that give clients complete peace of mind.
