Elaine, from E Lopez Design, is an incredible designer and friend! I have worked with Elaine on several projects over the past twenty years. She has achieved and surpassed my goals every time we have worked together! My budgets have varied on each project but, the quality of the design has never wavered. Elaine's design capabilities are diverse; she has worked with me on rental properties, commercial properties and three of my homes. She is personable, professional, and talented. No matter what your need is, Elaine can help your dream become a reality. The very first project Elaine worked on with me I was little nervous when she asked me to share with her not only my goals for the project but also my budget. Elaine did not "blink an eye" when I shared with her my minuscule budget! She immediately went to work creating "The Dream Home" I never imagined possible! My small,Ranch style house was transformed in about one month. She started the project moving and rearranging furniture and accessories I already had. After using all of my furniture and accessories, she purchased several items, had some painting done, and then....she helped me organize and eliminate clutter ...Elaine surpassed my vision of having a pretty house, she transformed my very average house into a really beautiful home! No matter how big or small your project may be, Elaine can get the job done. What amazes me the most, is each project she does is unique, customized to the needs and interests of her clients. Elaine is an amazing and outstanding interior designer. She did an amazing job for us and went above and beyond our expectations. We completely renovated our house and Elaine helped us from start to finish. She worked closely with our architect, contractor and subcontractors. In some situations, she stepped in as our advocate to resolve some issues. She listened to our ideas and family lifestyle to develop functional layouts. She worked closely with us to choose new furniture, rugs, chandeliers, lights, window coverings, paint colors, tiles, flooring, and much more. When our tiles, flooring and cabinets were getting installed, she was present to make sure they were installed properly. Renovating a house is incredibly complicated especially when faced with seemingly endless choices but Elaine helped us narrow our options and gave good advise to make our decisions simpler. In the initial planning of our renovation, I did not think it would be necessary to hire an interior designer as I was (so I thought) confident that I knew my style and I thought to myself - "how hard could it be?". Needless to say, it was a rude awakening for me. Elaine became our "guardian angel" who helped us in every step of the way, from planning to executing. We could not be happier with the end result. Our house reflects our personal style without sacrificing any functionality. Elaine has impeccable tastes and it shines through on her projects. Elaine is exceptional and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend Elaine for any project, small or large.

Elaine worked with me on 3 houses. The 1st one was decor only. The 2nd one was decor plus flooring (tile) and painting (entire interior). The last one was a total remodel with every room -(complete kitchen, walls removed/changed, flooring throughout, painting, lighting, sound system, appliances--the whole gamut).. We argued about some things and I have to say she was right most all the time! I was thoroughly impressed with the finished project and have had many compliments, especially with the obvious attention to all the detail work!!4

She reliable, honest, energetic, enthusiastic, and has uninhibited creativity. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is decided on my clients needs and what's most comfortable for them. In that way it is never complicated. I love to work. I love what I do. Fair is a word I commonly use. A client has to feel they're getting their monies worth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course. One has to stay informed always. I read constantly regarding advancements in design.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm visual and am able to see the big picture of a room. It was a natural fit.
