Best Ikea Kitchen Installer Ever!!! Super professional, amazing work...and you can't beat the price! Would recommend him 1000x over. If you need an Ikea kitchen installed, hire Joe. Joe did a great job on our kitchen remodel. He was professional, personable, did excellent work and his prices were reasonable. He had a lot of knowledge about the Ikea product he was installing and was able to improvise and work creatively with the materials when the situation called for it and ours certainly did in more than one place. He saved me a lot of money because he took an inventory of the materials that I ordered and set aside some things that were redundant and told me to return them. He is punctual, organized and cleans up after his work. I would definitely recommend his services.

After having designed the IKEA kitchen layout, I started to look for an installer. The initial internet search came up with a few names. Joe Runkle was one of them. I contacted him and we met to discuss my kitchen. I never had to even consider another installer. He was early for this meeting and from there on everything about Joe was just good news. He was courteous and very professional. He listened and also had very good ideas about the design. Once he started the work, he was totally focused and very organized. It was a pleasure to see him work. Joe also has a great feeling for doing a quality job. Everything just had to be right, even the cleanup at the end. Besides being very reliable, he ended the job in 75% of the estimated time and the cost was kept at the quote given (lower than IKEA’s install price). I would use him anytime again. If you want a quality job at a great price I really recommend Joe Runkle.

We found Joe by searching online for "Ikea kitchen installers" after meeting with Ikea's preferred installer and being given an estimate almost twice as much as what Ikea advertises (and being told the first available installation time was four weeks out). He is extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. All of his reviews on Yelp and Thumbtack were phenomenal. His estimate was less than Ikea and he was available in a week. Still, I was nervous because I'd never hired a contractor before. Surely it couldn't be this easy! He reviewed our plans and cabinet list and recommended some changes to address issues that neither Ikea (nor their preferred installer) caught. We had a farmhouse sink with a 9" apron front but Ikea (even though we showed them the specs) put 24" doors in our order, which wouldn't fit. Joe told us they make shorter doors, which aren't even listed on Ikea's website. He really knows everything about these cabinets! He approached everything with expertise, patience, and creativity. When we realized we ordered the wrong wall oven cabinet, he sent us to Ikea to pick up some extra drawers and filler panels and made a custom cabinet. He was meticulous and didn't call the job over until the results met his high expectations. Because of our changes and additions, I expected the bill to be several hundred higher than the estimate, but he charged us less than a reasonable increase. I would hire Joe again in a heartbeat. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who needs someone to build and install an Ikea kitchen (he does designs, too, if you need him to). We are considering remodeling our bathrooms using Ikea kitchen cabinets (yes, I meant to say that) and will without question call on Joe. You will not be disappointed!

Joe was great! He showed up on time and had the entire job done within 45 minutes. Not only that but he only charged me half of what he quoted me because he finished so quickly. I would definitely recommend him and use him again!
