Yesterday started like any other day as I ran some errands. But when I returned my garage door only opened half way. After retrying it I got the same problem so I went on line and picked three companies who said they serviced San Clemente, left messages and within 15 minutes I had three responses, two said that they could look at it within three hours. One called back and said he just finished a job and he could be at my house in about 30 minutes. He was a young man, his name was Ron Wolf, I explained the problem with the opener and he said he should be able to fix the problem quickly and we agreed on a price. He spent about 30 minutes trying to readjust the motor but he said that the motor wasn’t salvageable. I wasn’t surprised, it was installed when the house was built in 2003. He quoted a price that I thought was very reasonable and I told him I would let the second company take a look because they would be here in less than an hour. I said I wouldn’t tell the second company what Ron found to be the problem. This technician did the same inspection, came up with the same prognosis and gave me a quote way higher by over $1,100. After back peddling he was still $250 over Ron’s price. So I hired Ron Wolf, he arrived on time, showed me the new equipment, explained all the new features (including being able to use our phones to operate the door and a backup battery if there is a power outage) and he finished the work in an hour. He went over everything including the warranty. He gave us great service efficiently at a very reasonable price and he was a pleasure to do business with. I give him a 5 star recommendation and know you will too.
