Guitar Lessons

My son is taking guitar lessons from Chris. We tried some online tutorials but as a new guitar player, that didn’t give him the feedback that he needed. We tried an instructor locally but it wasn’t a good fit. Thankfully, I came across Chris on Thumbtack. He’s very patient, thorough, and positive and it’s been a great experience!

Guitar Lessons

Chris is the BEST! He’s only done a couple of lessons for my 14-year-old son so far (acoustic, beginner, transitioning to electric) but he’s really loving it. My son Traeden loves that Chris is a good teacher but “doesn’t act super strict. He teaches, but he’s also just a cool guy” which is exactly what we were looking for. Plus Chris was able to work with us on catering the lessons to fit our specific needs, which I really appreciate. He’s seriously just awesome. If you’re looking for a guitar teacher, STOP. You’ve found him! 👍 🎸❤️

Guitar Lessons

Chris is an excellent instructor. He makes the lessons fun and is very encouraging. Even when I am struggling with a technique he shows me workarounds. He loves to teach which is important when choosing an instructor and is very responsive to questions I may have during the week.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My prices are negotiable. Ultimately, if you have your own guitar the prices are lower. If you don't and you borrow mine, then the price goes up a little more. Not because I'm greedy but because I have to care for the guitar

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Hopefully I'll have an understanding of where the customer is in their guitar playing. Once I know that I can set up a lesson plan based on their wants.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been playing for 30 years. I've been in many bands and have toured the US and Europe. I know how to read guitar tab
