FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got in this line of work because I had been a performing musician for years, and always figured I could be a dj. The thought would cross my mind occasionally and by chance I came across some dj equipment that was on sale, so I bought it, spent a couple months learning it, and then got lucky and got a gig. My very first time went great and I've loved it ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I'm hired for are bar gigs, but I've performed at school dances, weddings and private parties. I'm usually hired as a person who spins music and keeps the party going, which is more traditional and a lot of fun, but I do have the capability to perform a more concert like experience that goes beyond traditional djing.
