FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do mostly promo videos or short films. I occasionally do music videos as well. I also do some color grading and correcting on the side as well. You'd be surprised how many people need these services done.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I love the Candlewyk video that property was really awesome to edit. (You can see it in my examples as the house) We shot about an hour of footage at day and at night over three different days and combined them all together to give you a complete tour of an entire house! I'm proud of how well it came out in the end. It was extremely challenging but it all worked out in the end. We did like seven completely different edits to finish it. At the end it only cost him 500 which was a pretty good deal for both of us.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask yourself what you need and when you need it done by. If you're looking for an editor I suggest you browse around a bit before you settle on people. There are many people out there who may seem legit as an editor, and they have the greatest shots and best reels but you work with them and it's just a horrible experience. Message the person a bit before you launch into the work. Pick their brain for their work ethic and what they bring to the table. As many people put up a front, and are completely dishonest about who they are and what they can do they just do it for the money.
