Introduction: I'm pretty fast for one. I'm able to work at a fast pace. Not only that but I'm pretty humble about the work I do, and I'm not above taking notes and admitting mistakes. I actually care about the projects I work on, and while I may not have much at the moment. I made sure that every one of them was done to the best of my ability, and I never compromised my vision or anyone else's. I always saw it through to the end, and I never gave up until the work was done. Many editors in Los Angeles (at least in my experience) are kinda flakes. They don't show up on time, they can't meet deadlines, and worst of all when and if you do get your project it's rushed and mistreated. There was no thought or love put into it, and that's how I'm different. I actually care and want everything I do to be great. No matter how small of a project it is or how well I'm getting paid. I will do it to the best of my ability. I love seeing new footage shot on different cameras in different styles. There's something really cool about seeing multiple people shoot on the same cameras and somehow coming out with totally different results. You can tell a lot about the crew and creators based on how they shot, and directed their films. It's like a mini psychological profile of everyone involved and it's really cool. The real fun comes from understanding what they are trying to accomplish and how you can piece together everything to fit that vision. Sometimes you try something in the editing room and everyone just kinda smacks their forehead and goes, "Why didn't we think of that." It's about improving the work and making something special.
