I've had many trainers over the years and I can confidently say that OJ is by far one of, if not the best. First, he's extremely approachable and not intimidating. He makes you feel super comfortable and not self conscious which for most of us girls is critically important. Even though he works with top NBA/NFL athletes, he still makes you feel comfortable and special. He creates a program specifically based on your personal needs and goals while also educating you on some additional areas that might be beneficial as well. For me, I really just wanted to focus on my upper body and my cardio but he had a way to incorporate some lower body exercises within the program that complemented what we were doing. OJ is patient and extremely invested in making sure you achieve your goals. He is motivating without being pushy. But...he also knows how to push you to get the very best out of you. Lastly, OJ is constantly working on his craft. He's continually educating himself and his clients on the newest methods and most efficient ways of training, not a lot of trainers I've worked with do this. He's there for you and for someone like me who is all about relationships in business and in life this goes a long way. OJ gets my highest recommendation.
I’ve been with Megan at Every BODY’s Fit for 2 months and I feel great. The workouts are always exciting and Megan does a great job of keeping me motivated and she always encouraging. My clothes fit better and my arms look really good!!! Bring on the sleeveless shirt! This was just what I needed to get my health and fitness back on track.
When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!

An outstanding trainer! Training with Eric gave me really good results. Made a huge difference physically as well as mentally. Every time we trained I found that he was constantly striving to get me in better shape. He has a lot of knowledge on the workout side as well as the nutritional side. Eric is very professional and deifinately has a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals!

Before I came to M2 Fitness Pros LBC, I thought I knew what it meant to push myself in the gym and to adopt a diet that complimented my training. After working with Emile for those first few weeks, I realized how little I really knew. Emile taught me so much in the year that I've trained with him that it's difficult to capture everything in one review, but here are some things that immediately come to mind: how to build a gym routine, how to use equipment properly, how to practice mindfulness while exercising (am I feeling the exercise where I should be feeling it?), how to pace your exercise, the number of reps to perform and at which weight range, how to go up in weight, how to diet to compliment your training, how to track your progress, how to stay motivated, etc. I used to walk into the gym with a measure of fear and insecurity, but after training with Emile, I walk into the gym with total confidence. Training with Emile has gotten me into the best shape of my life, and consequently, has changed my life for the better. I'm more confident than I've ever been. I highly recommend Emile and M2 Fitness Pros LBC. Stop stumbling and fumbling in the gym. Stop going to the gym on your own if you're making very little progress month over month. Stop spinning your wheels. You wouldn't pursue becoming a world-class chef, for example, without some kind of formal training, would you? Work with a true professional and be prepared to work harder than you ever have before. I promise you won't regret it.
Eric is a great guy. I love training with him. He is very professional, but also fun and has a great sense of humor. He makes workouts interesting not boring. I highly recommend him as a trainer.

I’ve been going to Summit Fitness and specifically training with Michelle since about March, 2015. She’s such an awesome trainer, I love and respect her approach to training in that she incorporates a variety approaches, activities, and exercises that range from the typical to the not so typical. For example, for strength training we of course use weights and resistance but she also routinely incorporates yoga and martial arts exercises into the mix which keeps it both interesting and at times dare I say fun! I would also describe her approach to training as being holistic in that she recognizes that it’s not just about building up one’s strength and cardio; flexibility, diet, deep stretching, etc., are as equally important and sometimes entire sessions are devoted to just that which as a long-time runner I know my legs desperately need. I really can’t say enough about her, other things that have been huge plusses for me are 1- she’s a female trainer and as such she has been able to provide a level of comfort I’m not sure I would be able to have with a male trainer especially when doing certain exercises or taking my body measurements and 2- how attentive she is to the needs and goals of all her clients. She genuinely cares about us and her actions prove that… just ask the clients who she has gone athletic shoe shopping with or has met at the track to jump start a running regiment.
Rochelle is amazing - I was really nervous to start working out after a rough year, and training with Rochelle is the best thing I could have done for myself . She really takes the time to "read" you and structure the workouts in a way that is challenging (for sure) but not intimidating or unnecessarily brutal. She's just on point - I already feel a difference after a month and I actually look forward to it. The woman knows what she's doing. She's also really fun and charming.
I have been working out with Jessie for a little while now and I am already seeing and feeling the results! Jessie corrects your form on the spot, helps with your nutrition and is extremely motivating. Jessie focuses his total attention on you during your workout and makes training fun and challenging. Jessie builds a training plan specifically to your goals, which he goes over in depth when you meet with him during your first session. Don't bother wasting your time with trainers at 24 hour fitness or other major fitness clubs, try Jessie and you won't regret it.
Steve did training with our entire framily! My son continued on with Steve for about 4 years after our other family members dropped out.. Steve always made our schedules and helped us with nutrition questions as well. Steve is the best!
It's been a year since I started working with Derek. In this one year I've learnt a lot from Derek in terms of overall fitness, exercises, right postures, nutrition and so on. He does due diligence with your current physical state and tailors the exercises according to what is best for your body. I'm very happy that I choose Derek as my personal trainer as his recommendations and training has helped me be in track to achieve my goals. More than a trainer Derek has become a great friend of mine. Along with the exhaustion I look forward to the great conversations we have at the gym.
Personal training with Denise has been a very good experience. We do couples' training and plan to continue for a while. She keeps changing the work outs which makes it fun. Always on time and always encouraging us! If you are like us where you pay for the gym but never go, training at home is a much better option!
Having Chris as my first trainer EVER I couldn't be more happy because he made working out something I looked forward to. He is laid back, good dancer, patient, and motivating. Although I was only able to train with him for 2 months I saw progress. I began losing some belly and back fat and I was toning my arms and I was getting a better figure. He is definitely someone who cares for his clients and knows when to push you to your limit. cant wait to get back to training with him again.
Just finished my first week of training with Dave. I feel great and can already feel myself getting stronger. Dave is very passionate about what he does, and is extremely knowledgeable. He sits down with you and goes over his objectives and your own and will set out a plan to achieve those goals. Highly recommend Trainer Dave. I am extremely excited to see my progress.
We have been training with Shoshanna since March. My daughters and I have worked with trainers before however, it never stuck. Shoshanna has a way of keeping us motivated and encouraging us to stick with it. Shoshanna has specialized workouts for each of us and they have been extremely effective. We have not lost a ton of weight but, we are toned and we have lost inches. She is very good at what she does but, she will not take it easy on you. She will push you and you will have muscles hurt that you didn't even know you had but, I ALWAYS feel great after a workout with Shoshanna!! We are very lucky to have found her!!!
