Hello! I am a tenured violinist with the Santa Barbara Symphony and a regular performer with Pacific Symphony. I received both my Bachelors and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance at USC. With 17 years of teaching experience, I work with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions.
I offer both remote and in‑person private lessons and can also coach high school students specifically for orchestral auditions. For in‑person lessons, I’m available in your local area and can travel to your home for added convenience.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s building strong fundamentals, advancing technique, or gaining confidence on stage.

My 15 year olds have been taking violin lessons with Stephanie for the past 3 years. We are so glad we found her. My kids have improved tremendously under her instruction. She is responsive with scheduling and flexible whenever I need to do a make up. She plays for the prestigious Pacific Symphony. My kids really like her and her style of instruction works.
