- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a student for the first time, I always make sure that I have a clear idea in regards to their goals and ambitions and formulate a clear plan based off those goals. Some questions I will ask are: How long have you been playing music or the cello? Why do you like music? Why do you want to play the cello? What do you hope to accomplish when learning music and the cello? Is there a certain orchestra or program that you want to audition for? Is there a certain piece or song you want to learn?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees from The New England Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music. It was at these institutions where I received training from some of the best musicians in the industry. During my time at the Cleveland Institute I was a participant of their Suzuki Pedagogy Program, a 2 year course which provided me invaluable training and experience in the art of teaching.
