We'll use science-backed methods, both in the the gym and in your regular life, to make fitness easier. Starting on a journey to better health can be hard, but we can break it down into little, easy-to-handle habits that yield amazing results over time.
We'll also develop a plan together to get you exercising as often as you need to. Contrary to popular belief, most people don't need to be in the gym six times a week for 90 minutes at a time. The most important part is showing up, so we'll plan sessions that fit into your schedule, no matter how busy you are. I don't require any contracts or upfront package purchases, so if your schedule changes we can reorganize at any time.
You'll be training at my private, boutique-style personal training facility that is 100% free of the 'corporate gym' nonsense. There are no memberships or fees besides what you pay me, and I have access to TWO state-of-the-art facilities. One is in Mission Bay on Morena Boulevard and the other is in La Mesa, near Grossmont Center.
We're also taking COVID seriously, and strictly enforcing masking and social distancing protocols. If you have any questions about this, I'm happy to answer them, but I can just about guarantee this is the safest gym experience you can find during the pandemic.

The common denominator is building functional strength and the confidence to use your body for the tasks you need it. My expertise is in building strength specific to YOUR needs. I'm not a bodybuilding coach, and strength doesn't always mean increased size. Instead, think of an athlete's body, primed to do its job to the best of its ability. Whatever your requirements of your body, functional strength, stability, and confidence are imperative, and that's what I specialize in.
I've personally lost over 50lbs since my heaviest. It took me about six years to lose the first 20, struggling with various diets and roadblocks along the way. In the last couple years though, I spent time learning the science of fitness, as well as the psychology of behavior change. I can tell you from personal experience that I understand how confusing the industry can be. I want to make it simpler and easier for you than it was for me, and teach you the skills you need to stay in shape for the long term.
