- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started event planning in and after college, planning events, conferences, trainings, etc. within the field of education. I moved to CA and started event planning on a large scale for non profit events with attendees ranging from 50-100 to events with over 9,000 people. Full service event planning is what I am passionate about and I can’t wait to find more clients here on Thumbtack!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would encourage you to find someone who goes the extra mile. Someone who steams out the extra crease, remembers to record any impromptu speeches, and isn’t afraid of doing dishes or helping clean up.
