Introduction: Since 2004, Dexter Dog Recording Studio has maintained discretion and professionalism at a fraction of the cost. The studio is is owned by Pete Charell, and situated in Orange County, California. Pete is a bass player and founding member of TRAPT, the multi-platinum rock band. He has co-written hit songs, journeyed the world, and spent months in studios with other world-renowned mixers and producers, like Don Gilmore, Garth Richardson, Tom Lord-Alge, and Andy Wallace. Pete and his band co-produced every TRAPT album, and is personally familiar with the album and song making process, which includes recording, pre-production, writing, and mixing. Our aim at Dexter Dog Recording Studio is to surpass the needs of the client, with exceptional technical service and expertise. We realize the importance of paying attention to every artist's/band's production goals and feedback.
