One thing to note is that tax preparation and tax planning are two distinct services:
1. Tax preparation focuses on calculating tax owed on income already earned/received. I can help you in this area by suggesting how to reduce tax (e.g. making contributions to a pension plan, considering various depreciation methods, etc.).
2. Tax planning - helps with minimizing taxes in the future. It is done in advance of preparing and filing a tax return.
As you can see, these are two different services, and the second service is charged separately.
