Richard is a seasoned plumbing expert who is knowledgeable and was very helpful in diagnosing and fixing a pipe and shower hardware issue. We have a very old house with old piping and while he came initially to do a smaller job on a leaky pipe, he actually ended up having to access and repair it by opening up a shower wall. His team repaired and drywalled the hole which looks great. Richard also followed up with a house call to adjust heat and regulate our water pressure. He and his team are professional, prompt and very polite. We would work with him again!

I highly recommend Richard’s Plumbing & Repair! After a foul smell started coming from the shower area of my primary bathroom, i had my usual handyman come inspect the plumbing in & around the bathroom as well as under the house in the crawl space. After a thorough investigation, we could not find a leak, so I hired two separate plumbing companies to look further. The first company told me they found a leak in the shower & recommended demolishing the entire bathroom to repair. The second company said there were several leaks under the home & recommended redoing the ENTIRE plumbing system under the home. Two different companies telling me they found vastly different & extremes expensive issues (each not knowing that I had a second opinion) made no sense to me.. especially after my handyman told me that there were no leaks. The following day I had Richard come out to take a look. He immediately told me that the smell was not a sewage smell & that any professional plumber would know that. Within 15 minutes, Richard found a hole leading into the walls from my crawl space where a possum had crawled into and died! This space was under the shower in my primary & that was where the smell was coming from! Richard’s knowledge, expertise, extreme honesty & professionalism literally saved me over $10,000 of unnecessary repairs. That same day him & his crew, Brandon & Sofia, made a small hole in the stucco of my home’s exterior to remove the animal, rid of the smell, patch & paint over the hole perfectly. I found Richard to be the most honest & professional person I’ve ever worked with for home repairs. I highly recommend him & will certainly be using him again in the future!

Richard's crew was friendly and responsive to our issues. I asked him to move a copper water pipe in our garage so we could install a garage door and then to change the anode rod of our water heater. They had to drain and move the water heater in order to get to the anode but they did it. While they were doing that, the pilot gas tube broke. The water heater is old but I found a suitable replacement for the pilot tube on Amazon. Even though it took a few days, Richard came back and happily replaced the pilot tube when the part arrived. I recommend Richard's Plumbing and Rooter and will seek him for more work around our house.

Richard provided solid communications throughout the process. Did the job efficiently and competently. Cleaned up after doing the install (not always a strong point for other companies) and did all at a fair price based on the estimates we had obtained. We will likely consider him for future plumbing-related work.
