Introduction: After working in the childcare field for many years, I have noticed that many teachers and parents lack basic CPR and First aid skill even after taking a CPR class! I have attended many CPR trainings and found that classes are mostly video and lecture presentation and are rushed. Working with children holds serious responsibilities. It is our mission to teach CPR/First Aid that is relevant and practical with plenty of hands-on experience and scenerio based practice in a stress free learning environment. THIS IS NOT A BORING CLASS! Our students leave the class with confident knowledge of life saving skills. Meeting new people that share my passion (caring for children). And knowing that people I teach will have the confidence to potentially save a life.

CPR and First Aid Training

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

After years of seeing that many preschool staff did not know how to respond to an emergency and lacked basic first aid and safety knowledge (even after taking cPR training), I decided to become a certified instructor.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Adult, child, and infant CPR & First Aid. A class named "keeping licensing complaints away", child safety & injury prevention, family & friends CPR party, babysitter training.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what type of certification you need. Childcare providers, foster parents, or anyone working with children whose job requires cpr certification have specific requirements that must be met by EMSA. Make sure your CPR provider follows EMSA requirements.
