Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The reason we exist is to teach people to play and perform music. Music touches everyone in some way, and the more music we can spread to the masses, the better. You will find that many stores use gimmicks. Quite often they employ teachers who are not professional musicians, and have no passion for their students. You will not find that at Mel Booker Music. Seeing the successes of our students. We have several alumni attending music schools around the country. Many of our alumni play music professionally. At Mel Booker Music, students can learn to perform as they learn to play. Here is a short alumni list: Sarah Dawn-Guitarist for Auburn Court Eric Slater-Solo Artist and guitarist for Australiens Sean Hennesy-Guitarist for Candlebox/Gracious Few Robert Tulk-Guitarist for Epicedium Travis Hildreth-Guitarist for Demize

I took guitar lesson from Mel Booker back in 1995- 1996. I went in knowing absolutely nothing and left with a good grasp on how music is formulated and played on guitar. Everything was done in a no nonsense straight to the point and professional manner. I don't ever recall encountering a musician with such meticulous knowledge on all types of music and theory whom had the time only been playing ( at the time ) 15 years.

Currently taking Guitar lessons from Will Dawson at Mel Booker's. Very professional, very prepared, willing to teach any style of music I have asked about. After taking lessons from a number of "Instructors" at different places, I know when I have a good one. Mel's place has room to lounge before and after your lesson, (great for parents), and the lesson rooms are not little closets. Great family business by people that care. I can't say enough.
