- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work in 3-4 hour blocks depending on the project, so there is a (3 hr x $50) $150 minimum per project. Once we truly dig in and have our first session, I can then give you a broad estimate on how long the project might take.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to my customers by phone/email to get a feel for the scope of the project and what their desired outcomes are. If we feel it appropriate, we can also do a free in-home consultation to go over specifics. Once we agree on scope and terms, we can schedule our first session and dig in and get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 10 years as an Operations/Process Engineer in Aerospace manufacturing where I organized and optimized factories at two different companies. At both companies, my focus was in 'Lean Manufacturing' principles -- both in implementing them in my own factories and coaching others as they implemented them in theirs. Those exact same 'Lean' principles apply to our own homes and spaces -- and it all starts with a solid foundation of good organization. In addition, I've completed Professional Organization training. I also attend on-going educational classes and workshops through my membership in the National Association for Productivity and Organizing Professionals.
