My daughter was very nervous starting piano lessons. I tried it too when I was a kid and remember quitting because the impatience of the teacher I had. But Faye is so calm and patient with my daughter. She is having a great time and Faye is such an excellent teacher. My daughter is learning to play music the right way (notation + theory) and is starting to sound like a little pianist herself. We are all so glad we found the perfect teacher!

I always wanted to play but couldnt coordinate my hands..She was very patient and taught me how to use both hands for different sounds...If I said that right,,,Anyway playing now...Thank You !

We have Faye as a piano instructor for our 2 kids and she is phenomenal. Very friendly and extremely patient. Faye is also very flexible with her time and teaches the kids in a way that keeps their attention. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning to play. Great teacher and an even better person.

Faye is deducated to her students and her work. She enjoys teaching piano to my girls and they in turn enjoy her as their piano teacher. She works well with kids and is able to engage them effectively during lessons. My girls always say she is likeable with a bubbly personality, that she makes learning piano fun and allows them to pick their own songs. She is helpful and teaches them a variety of skills and techniques. She is reliable and always on time.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started volunteering at my children's elementary school because I saw there was very little in the way of music for the children. I worked closely with the teachers and their class programs, Christmas programs, put on some great talent shows complete with grand finales, and Kids on Stage at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Think about what you want for your future in playing. If your goal is to be a serious classical pianist, then choose a serious teacher. If you want to play music from the radio, broadway hits or Disney movies, then I'm probably a better fit for you.
