I hired David for my small, backyard wedding and I am so glad I did! His upbeat, positive attitude helped diffuse any normal stress that goes along with planning an event such as this. Beyond his enthusiastic personality, his musical talent was unparalleled. David also did a few announcements for us throughout the evening and learned a few specific songs that we requested. If you’re looking for a musician for your event with exceptional talent, a great attitude and work ethic, then look no further! I would gladly hire David again and I plan to refer him to anyone I know in search of talent and professionalism. Thank you again, David!Nov 1, 2019Verified
My husband and I were so happy with David. He played at our daughter's baptism luncheon. We highly recommend him for your event. He asked our guests to feel free to request songs and he would essentially learn it on the spot. It was our anniversary this weekend so he played our wedding song and it was so sweet. You can tell he has years of training and education in music. David has a bright future ahead of him and I definitely plan on following him in his career and using him again in the future. God bless you David in our prayers.Sep 16, 2019Verified

David and Matt were absolutely amazing to work with! We really enjoyed having them perform for our wedding welcome party. We had compliments from all of our guests who were having a great time dancing and just enjoying themselves ♥️ They were amazing to work with and highly talented. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys! They rock!Nov 17, 2019Verified
Decided to do something out of character and make my girl smile with a romantic gesture for our five year anniversary. After a nice dinner, David and his sax player Matt were waiting on the rooftop landing of my apartment building where I brought her for a slow dance to our favorite song. It was like a scene right out of a movie. They absolutely NAILED the song and I could tell it landed right where it was supposed to. Thank you, David and Matt for helping us make a memory we will treasure forever...Oct 27, 2019Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For a performance, I ask for the general details -- what type of music would like to hear, how long they would like me to perform for, how many instruments they want (I can bring along my saxophonist as well as a full band). For guitar lessons, I get a feel for the type of music they are into and their skill level, and then go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've played guitar and sang since I was very young, and just graduated from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music with a degree in Popular Music Performance. I have a couple years worth of experience playing gigs around Los Angeles and interacting with all different types of audiences.
- What types of customers have you worked with? All types -- parents throwing a grad party for their high schooler, a mid-40s age husband throwing a surprise birthday party for his wife, fraternity parties, you name it.
