Introduction

My goal is to share knowledge of my extensive playing and teaching career of more thar 20 years. I have a B.A. in Music and Masters in Music Education. I currently teach percussion classes and give drum lessons at one of the top private schools in Connecticut. I teach all styles: rock, jazz, blues, latin, hiphop and r&b. I have played and studied with some of the greatest musicians in the world. One of my strong suits is patience. I have worked with adults and kids that have various challenges. I definitely can think of ways to do things outside the box. David is a great drum teacher. I had some drumming experience from my youth and decided to get back into it again. David has been great at helping me pick back up from where I left off. Besides having vast experience and knowledge of drumming, David is kind, sincere, and easy to learn with. So far with every lesson i had, David has given me 200%. I definitely improved a lot in a short time working with him.

I am a total beginner at drums and David was patient and knowledgeable about what I needed. While I’m not a fan of virtual lessons, the situation requires it. David is completely up to date and supremely competent in virtual lessons. Cheers.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $75 an hour and $60 for a 1/2 hour. There are discounts if someone pays for a month of lessons in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to find out what level a student is at and see what they are interested in. I then plan our lessons around that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have B.A. in Music and Masters in Music Education. I have studied with many legends in drumming like Bernard Purdie, Dom Famularo, Charli Persip, Mario Monaco, Gregg Bissonette, Kenwood Dennard and many others.
