Fabiano arrived at our scheduled time. He looked at my various projects - installing shelves in a storage closet, installing new door knob, fixing bedroom doors that showed gaps when closed, and installing new shower head.
The shelves are extremely sturdy. The bedroom doors now close properly without gaps. The shower head is great.
He cleaned up everything and took the construction trash away.
I couldn’t be more pleased with this service. Thank you so much! You are now my go-to handyman!!😁

I'm a hotelier and have worked with dozens of handypersons and contractors over the years. I moved my son into a condo outside of my area. Without resources in Long Beach, I found Fabiano here on Thumbtack to handle plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous repairs. I can honestly say he is the best I have experienced. Very punctual and professional. The quality of his work shows he knows what he is doing. On top of all this, my son is autistic and was following him around the condo, curious and asking many questions while he was working; Fabio was so patient with him and never made him feel like he was in the way. I wish I could give him ten stars.

Fabiano arrived 10 minutes early to my house. He got on it and replaced the faucet in my kitchen sink. He was done in 30 minutes. Fast and friendly service. I was not sure how my invoice ended up at $185.00
The part was $75. Labor was $110. On his profile he stated he was $35 an hour. Shouldn't labor and hourly be the same and my invoice should come out to $110? Maybe Thumbtack charges for using their services. This is my second time using Thumbtack though.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a 20% procurement fee for materials. All labor is estimated upon time it will take to complete the job, complexity of the task, and tools required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact them to discuss the scope of work and determine if an on-site estimate or design is needed. I then issue an estimate and if the price is agreed on, we proceed with the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am proficient at welding copper and performing plumbing repairs. Apprenticed as a painter for 2 years before becoming a journeyman. Have wired over 200 fans and light fixtures, hung over 500 pieces of art, shelves, and decor, and done high end finish carpentry as well as rough framing for several room additions.
