Introduction: Hi, my name is Sasha Leal. I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in the business mountain city of Monterrey, Mexico. I have been outstanding in public speaking and creative writing since I was little. I studied at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. My poems have been featured in the Architecture faculty's 60th anniversary edition (UANL) and also exhibited at art events, and currently, I still write for pleasure. I have experience teaching ESL, Spanish, and K-12 subjects. (I can provide my resume and references). Something really special about my teaching is that I like to keep every lesson energetic. I like to keep it fast-paced by targeting the interests of the students. Let's say, if you like cooking, I know I will get your attention by talking about ingredients and recipes rather than talking about cars or celebrities. I like to customize my tutoring based on what is needed (age, personality, and number of students is taken into account), so that people grow their passion for Spanish and stay motivated to work hard. Keep in mind: If you have a good sense of humor, expect smiling and laughing while you learn. You will overcome the pain of learning something for the first time and be capable of knocking the fear of failure out of your mind. I am very expressive; I use a lot of gestures and body language in general, helping students connect with the meaning of concepts and Latin culture, instead of depending on word-for-word translations. Students generally feel invited to communicate freely. I love what I do, and I know you will love learning Spanish, too. I can offer the first hour lesson as a courtesy.
