I would love to choreograph and teach your bride/groom first dance, bride/father, groom/mother, or wedding party dance. I can choreograph and teach singles, couples, or group routines. I can choreograph and teach any special occasion dance/s or I can teach ballroom dance lessons even if you do not have a special occasion. My choreography is beautiful, whether it is simple and elegant or more detailed. Your lessons are private in a beautiful studio in Long Beach with no other students taking lessons at the same time. I will do home visits on some occasions, but mostly teach at the studio. I charge $75 for 1 hour or $85 for 1 1/2 hours which includes the choreography. The price is the same whether it’s 1 person or 20 people taking a lesson. I have a passion for teaching dance and for giving students superior dance lessons. I am very experienced, patient, and I really care about my students. I try to make you feel comfortable and relaxed and I aim to create YOUR vision of your perfect dance.

We loved working with Arianna! She is so kind and patient. She was flexible and adapted the dance to our skill level but also to the moves we were most interested in. We picked two different songs - one for me and my now-husband, and the other for me and my dad - and she crafted the choreography just for us. Also, the lessons are in a beautiful pilates studio on the water and there’s a lot to do nearby before/after your lesson if you want to make an afternoon of it.
Ariannas prices were very fair -a great value for what you’d typically find in the area- and I can’t recommend Arianna enough.

I was really impressed with how well prepared Ariana was to teach me how to dance for my daughters upcoming wedding. She clearly took the time to really listen to the song ahead of time and had a whole routine planned for me before I arrived. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $70 for 1 hour or $80 for 1 1/2 hrs for studio lessons, home visit prices depend on my travel distance, wedding and special occasion choreography always included in the price
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate through Thumbtack and text and I ask about the vision that they have for their special occasion dance, or if they want lessons just in general and not for a special occasion, I find out which dances they want to learn. I ask for their song title if they are learning for a special occasion like a wedding and then I choreograph their dance exactly to fit their music. On their very first lesson, their dance is completely choreographed and ready for them to learn. We usually don't get the entire dance done the first lesson, but by second lesson, they know their dance and then we can really get into the details of the dance for the rest of their lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years of jazz and ballet and ballroom training. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education. I have performed in 11 musicals and also danced professionally in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Japan in addition to teaching for major ballroom studios for 12 yrs and have taught independently for 15 yrs. I became Zumba certified and always try to get new choreography ideas, and techniques from many sources. I feel that the study of dance is a lifetime study. There is always something new to learn.
