Introduction: I am a private and small group instructor of Hatha, Restorative, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga. I am certified and registered with Yoga Alliance.
My belief is that yoga is a journey of self discovery and exploration. My purpose is to inspire and empower my students to find their own freedom of body, mind, and spirit through the practice of yoga; therefore, my approach is traditional.
I design a private session to meet your needs. You do not have to try and figure out what you should do, if you can not do the pose the instructor is demonstrating. No two bodies are exactly alike, so one size does not fit all. I have been in classes that claim to be an all-levels class, and have seen students struggle and get frustrated, because they can't do what they are asked to, and the teacher does not help them. In a private or small group session, your needs are met on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
A yoga teacher needs to know their students, so I take time to build a relationship with my students. I will design a home practice specifically for you to meet your body, mind, and spirit needs.
I travel to my students, so you can make your practice fit your schedule. The sessions are sixty to seventy-five minutes, and include asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and mantras. You will not get bored doing the same class over and over, which is usually what you get in a studio. Each class has a different focus taking you from where you are to where you would like to be.
Consistently, I hear from my students comments such as "this is wonderful," "it's so calming," and "I feel healed."
We all have the power within to heal body, mind, and spirit. Yoga will take you within to discover that power.
I would love to help you rise from wherever you are at this moment and shine like the sun, the moon, and the stars that you truly are.
Namaste'
