Introduction: I feel my work stands out from others because of my extensive background in Film/TV and Stage. I have learned tricks of the trade and been taught techniques by some of the most accomplished Makeup Artists in the entertainment business. One such example is the late Kevyn Aucoin, an award winning makeup artist and certainly one of the best in the business. He taught me to trust myself and that every face is a blank canvas of which to create from. With an early background as a professional singer and actress I have spent many years sitting in the chair as the subject. There is something therapeutic and relaxing when someone is touching your face. People leave the chair with confidence. It feels great to be part of the transformation. We are all beautiful. I am a people person and I love coming Face 2Face with my clients. Doing makeup is a very intimate profession and every face is different, unique and beautiful. I learn something new with every client that I work with.

I've worked with Angelyna on numerous productions ranging from natural light and studio work to print, original content for web series and television. Her versitility and professionalism is unparalleled. Each time we work together, she brings classic beauty and freshness that stands the time as trends these days, can be so jarring to say the least. Now if a specific look is required for your event or shoot, such as circa 1955 or even from the 1800s, Angelyna delivers each look perfectly as well! A great asset in Angelyna is her knowledge of application and a long lasting "set" for her client's look as shoot days can routinely become 10 hours plus, so with proper application, "touch up" time is kept at a minimum with Angelyna's work. Two words: Incredibly impressive! She makes everyone feel so comfortable with her sense of ease and welcoming energy - such a professional through and through! Angelyna was fantastic to work with you. I was a novice when it came to having make up on my face but during my Texas Senate Campaign she made me feel at ease and after the first sitting/session I was very comfortable. Angelyna saved the day! I found her last minute after arriving in the US for a premiere. My make up was exactly what I wanted - very natural, but glamorous enough for the red carpet. It photographed beautifully. She's now my go-to for any event. Highly recommended.

I learn something with every job. My continued education is simple. If I see a look I want to recreate I enlist a friend and practice, practice, practice.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always doing everyone's makeup for different events and occasions and people would always say to me "Ange you should do makeup professionally" so I listened and here I am today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Women love the Smokey Eyes. It is a great look for every face.
