At Mad Diva, Lynique Browning, has been an artist since birth. Her passion for artistry stemmed from her roots as a young girl when her mother owned a clothing shop. One of the principles instilled in Lynique at an early age was that your appearance is key, and a young lady should at all times present herself in a respectable yet attractive manner. Lynique established her passion for the art of makeup while experimenting with cosmetics trying to accomplish these principles.
Through Lynique's teen years, and as she grew into womanhood, she familiarized herself with all of the latest fashionable accessories and cosmetics, taking a particular fondness to the MAC brand and befriending the employees of the M.A.C.cosmetics counter at the local outlets.
She inquired everything about proper makeup application techniques, trends, along with other dos and don'ts, and proceeded to take this knowledge and apply it as a foundation (no pun intended) for her ambitions in the professional cosmetics field.
In 2010, Lynique attended the well-respected Marinello School of Beauty to perfect her craft. Taking further initiative, Lynique educated herself on the technicalities of skin care by entering in the esthetician program at the Marinello School of Beauty. With diversity in mind, Lynique obtained not only the training to apply cosmetics but also how to properly and effectively treat skin absent of any makeup.
The services she provides are facials, back facials, (airbrush) makeup, body waxing and eyelash application.
In April of 2010, Lynique completed her training and got her esthetician's license from the state of California. Lynique's studies in both of these critical parts of fashion have propelled her into the competitive makeup industry, immensely adding depth to an already attractive clientele base, securing photo shoot and movie set projects with several of the larger celebrity names in entertainment today.
She's worked with personalities such as Vanessa Simmons, Meagan Good, Sean Kingston, Tatiana Ali, Regan Gomez-Preston, Jason Weaver, and Terrell Owens, just to name a few. However, one of Lynique's core beliefs is that from the celebrity to the everyday working girl, at some point, every woman is looking to enhance her beauty. Enter Mad Diva.
Mad Diva specializes in all shades and textures of skin, from conservative to dramatic and exotic looks, and light touch-ups. She offers consultation services and with her knowledge and experience, she's determined to develop the best look for her clients. Lynique plans to further perfect her craft by acquiring further training in the areas of special effects makeup, prosthetics makeup and character transformation.
