About
Established in 2021, buds budding is an LA based floral studio owned and operated by rebecca engelhardt + buds.
While studying film scoring and vocal performance at Berklee College of Music, Rebecca took a part time job at a small flower shop in Boston, ma and was immediately hooked on floristry. She describes those first years training under fleetwood floral's molly burke as “the beginning of a full-blown love affair with all things budding”.
Buds Budding has proudly collaborated with Sightglass Coffee and Erewhon, building out weekly floral programs retailing everyday bouquets and floral accessories. Buds Budding has expanded to offer wedding and special event services, pop up bouquet bars, and collaborates regularly with brands to create memorable floral experiences.

Working with Buds Budding was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding last month!! The floral arrangements were absolutely stunning, and the process was so smooth from start to finish ✨
It started with an intro call where Rebecca got to know my vision/what I was looking for — she took that and ran with it! In the weeks leading up to my wedding, she kept me updated with previews of what some of the arrangements would look like and gave me the opportunity to provide feedback (I had none, since they already looked perfect!)
On the day of the wedding, the buds budding team arrived on time and got everything set up so quickly! They were there for on site fixes to make sure everything looked perfect. They even came back at the end of the night to wrap up the flowers into bouquets for my guests to take home, which was such a nice touch!!
