FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is key. I am always looking for something new and interesting to learn and pass on to my clients. Fitness is always changing and new techniques are always being discovered. In any industry, especially fitness and health, it would make very little sense to stick to one mindset. I'm always evolving just like my industry. My clients appreciate my dedication and constant thirst for knowledge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From a young age I was always active. Everyday I ran home from school, put my backpack down, and hurried outdoors to play with my friends in the neighborhood. My eating habits weren't great because I lived in a home where yo yo diets were always happening. That little boy turned into a teenage who read every single fitness magazine that existed. My mom bought me my first weight set when I was 14 and I never looked back. As life typically does, I was thrown a curveball. At 18 I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Out of nowhere my life took a complete and unexpected turn. I took my situation and turned it into my greatest strength. I found courage, power, and motivation in my illness. From that day forward I felt it was my responsibility to help others prevent these types of things by living fit and happy lives.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common type of work I do for my clients is toning and firming. Living in LA really puts pressure on people to lose weight and look good. I take that initial motivation and help my clients realize that it is so much more than just losing weight but rather living a healthy and happy life. In that process they really discover what it is to be healthy.
