Introduction
When I was a student I was afraid to mistakes because I thought a mistake was a step in the wrong direction. Now I know that is backwards. A mistake is just an opportunity to expand the boundaries of what you already know—real learning. I push my students to work hard and enjoy the process of improving themselves through trial, error, and discovery. The most gratifying thing for me as a teacher is being able to empower another person with the confidence to grow as a student and individual.

Amitai knows his stuff. He's able to explain things in a way that resonates with people. I was studying for a standardized test and after a quick glance, Amitai was able to identify various approaches to solving specific problems that were challenging to me. Very helpful and would definitely recommend to anyone!!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before my customers accept a quote from me, I like to offer the opportunity for a one-on-one. This way my students and I can get to know each other, talk about my teaching styles and how I can help them not only achieve their immediate goals, but also gain the confidence to approach new problems independently.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In my experience the best learning happens in an environment where there is equal participation between the student and their tutor. Hire a professional with whom you feel comfortable having an open dialogue about the subject matter. My philosophy is that by encouraging an open dialogue between myself and my students, I empower them to synthesize the material in their own unique way.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

"How should I break down my goal into achievable steps, and how can this professional help me execute?"
