Stealing, drugs and altercations is what you get when you work with company. I have never been so disappointed in a service provider. We needed two movers. Both boys showed up on time. And both were nice to me. However, Neither were active college students. One got out of the car smelling like pot. The other had a pretty poor attitude to where I thought these two guys were going to fight at some point because of how the one wouldn’t do a certain job to move furniture. Because of this altercation, they put dings all over the walls. At the end, I paid cash, like I do a lot of times with movers. Apparently College Movers has a no cash policy, which I did not know. Both movers knew But neither spoke up about not allowing to take cash. I guess the one guy I paid was new and ended up stealing the money. Headquarters called and had the audacity to tell me I was going to have to pay again. First, don’t lie about who hire, do a better job with background checks, and make it clear cash is not allowed. I lost sleep over this interaction. I definitely will not be paying again and I will NEVER ever hire this company again.

I've moved quite a few times, from local to international moves. I hired 2 college students to help me move and they were easily the best I've ever used. They worked 2 hours without stopping or even slowing, moving everything from a 3rd floor apartment and packing it into a U-pack transport container. My only complaint is that College Movers didn't operate in my destination city so I had to use a different service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $45 per hour per College Mover. This price includes labor and all necessary equipment to move your items more efficiently. We charge a minimum of two hours. WE DO NOT PROVIDE MOVING TRUCKS
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first gather information on the details of your move and how best to assist you. Things to inform us about are : - What you need help with (Vaguely) - Size of the move or heavy lifting job - How many movers you would like - How long you want our movers - When and where? We then ask for your : - Full Name - Address - Phone Number - Email address We add this information to our booking system and get you set for your move with us
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With every moving crew, a lead mover will be there to pack/unpack and ensure everything is done professionally and in the best manner possible. The movers are college students whose only goal is to succeed whether in College or helping you.
