Pro was responsive when scheduling appointment. I was contacted 3 different ways, a phone call, text and via Thumbtack app. I made an appt via phone and then the other 2 pros reached out. That in office miscommunication should have been the red flag. Movers were an hour late to a stacked day that was time sensitive. I also was not given any notice they would be tardy, had to reach out via app to inquire about eta. Once pair arrived they were only able to communicate using Google translate. Because of the attention to detail this job required directions literally got lost in translation. On top of that, they asked if they could move a cast iron utility sink and shame on me for assuming that because they had tools they would be able to remove the sink without damaging it. Only after they removed it did I realize they had cut the pipe and cracked the cast iron sink feet/supports. I ended up having to hire a plumber and buy a new utility sink that does not match the age of my Art deco home in order to be able to use the laundry room. I reached out to the pro after and was not given a response to my concerns. The pair who showed up were polite and tried their best given the circumstances, but would not hire them again.

These people were ridiculously unprofessional. First they confirmed a time then never got back to me until 20 minutes before my appointment. Then I went to the place early and decided not to purchase the item and let them know, but they never told the movers so the movers went to the address anyway. They don’t let you communicate directly with the movers so you have to deal with line 3 different operators. The movers themselves were very sweet, but they seemed a little worn out and I don’t know if they would have been able to move the fridge had I purchased it. I mentioned that I felt bad to the operator and she started attacking me!! She said I had mental problems and “needed to see a psychological doctor”!! Like WtF? Just for expressing concern for another human being? SO UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT HIRE!!!
