Made our move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas a breeze, and was available the exact date and time we needed. Very accommodating! Very professional and was the lowest bid we got so win win for us. Everything (incl. a lot of fragile boxes) arrived in one piece and they even disassembled and assembled some of our furniture for us. I highly recommend them.

Really happy with this hire. Had to move from CA to TX. Their pricing was a flat fee and included gas, furniture wrapping and load/unload. All for a really fair price. They got to the house in 2 days. Communication through Thumbtack was fairly punctual. Would recommend!

Very nice people, hard working and professional. kuka and his two other colleagues came on time and did a great job on my moving. They wrapped everything dis assembled my bed and un mounted my TVs. Also they took care of moving stuff around the house. With these guys moving is really easy. Highly recommended.

Kuka and Michel handled my move over this past weekend. The move involved roughly 2 rooms of furniture and boxes. The move was from the inland empire to Los Angeles. Both gentlemen were efficient and quick. I was really impressed with how fast they moved and how hard they worked. I’ve used other moving companies who make excuses and attempt to run out the clock. But these guys were different. Their main priority was getting the move done in the most efficient way possible. Which is great customer service! Kuka and Michel did an excellent job and I feel like my money was well spent. There was only one issue when a box fell over during the move and a bottle of cologne broke. So my apartment still smells from the spill. Accidents happen and both guys helped to clean it up. But I’m thankful it wasn’t a worse situation. But all in all...would I use them again? Yes, I definitely would. I felt taken care of and that’s what matters most.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For our local moves, we charge by the hour. Movers start work once the client presses the start button on our tablet. The work ends once the last item has been unloaded and the client presses the finish button. Everything is being tracked electronically, so the client will have a complete break down of the hours and pricing. There are NO extra fees or hidden charges! If the distance between the pick up and drop off address is over 10 miles then the time for driving will be doubled. For example, 30 minutes real time driving will cost 1 hour. (The Double Drive Time Law (DDT)) No gas or mileage fees and no extra charges. Our company is fully licensed and insured. The following is included in our hourly rates: Truck & Movers Unlimited tape and plastic wrap Protective blankets Wardrobe boxes - only during the move Assembly and Disassembly Packing and Unpacking Basic insurance Please note that your hourly rate does not include the following items: Regular boxes, packing paper & bubble wrap Long distance moves- Contact our team to discuss your long distance move. We would love to understand the scope and details of the project and give you a great flat rate! Ask about our specials to San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process is the client contacts me. Gives me a date, time and the size of the move. I send the estimate and we proceed with booking. Booking can be done easily online or over the phone. The client will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail with all the necessary information regarding the move. The client looks it over, make sure everything is correct, signs and submits it. That would complete the booking process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have moved clients for over 7 years, worked for multiple moving companies and started Nomad Movers in 2016. Even though the company may be young, our movers are experienced, well trained passionate people.
