Not stuffy; my personable nature enables me to establish an early rapport with my customers and record their segment in a casual atmosphere that brings out your best. My two main subjects I have chosen to pursue are of great value to our world. We need to reach out to the members of our society who are in the military, and let them know we appreciate them and they are not forgotten. Next, the vast legacy and wisdom I can preserve from the oldest of our human family, the knowledge and history that will be lost when they are gone. I have been recording a news program weekly for over two years. This has given me the skills to be able to take this on the road, and enable me to record a segment on location, and get the best of my subject. I have recorded an audio book, and that was especially interesting.

John has been co host and executive producer of my weekly podcast on LA's own www.killradio.org He has always been professional, principled and passionate about his production work and I surely would be lost without his expertise. He has already recorded, mixed, and mastered over 100 episodes of our show which can be heard by searching 'Tucker Booth' on www.archive.org He also has recorded a number of original acoustic rock and hip hop songs that I've written for customers who have hired me to write custom songs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A lot of thought has gone into how to price out what I can do? I feel that creating a program specifically for a serviceman, and their buddies in the desert on the other side of the world is a priceless thing; likewise the infinite value of playing the sound of your grandfather's voice, laughing and telling about himself, and listening with your children is beyond putting a dollar sign on. I must take into account what it will take, but I'm not going to gouge you for doing it. Understand that, beyond a basic recording and the time it took, there is likely three or four times that length of time working on editing and enhancing the original.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every recording experience and editing experience is different, and have different needs and approaches. I am investigating new software possibilities and engineering techniques.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first got a passion for radio back in then 80's when I ran the mail room for The Columbia School of Broadcasting for 6 1/2 years. I had the blessing of working with and alongside several working radio broadcasters. Since 2006 I have been a member of a non-profit web radio station, and learned how to make a professional broadcast, record the show and enhance the original for uploading to pod cast. I am now assisting in the production of four shows on the station, and assisting a couple of other members with their engineering on their show. I also help in the training of new members.
